Program Producer - American Thought Leaders Locations: Washington D.C. or remote with periodic travel to Washington, DC (approximately once per month)The Epoch Times is seeking a versatile Program Producer to join American Thought Leaders, our flagship long-form interview program hosted by Award-winning Senior Editor, Jan Jekielek.This role is ideal for someone with strong editorial judgement who thrives in a fast-paced newsroom environment.Key Responsibilities: Conduct guest outreach, research topics, and develop interview questionsCoordinate schedules, bookings, and shoot logisticsSupport shoots and ensure production quality (including travel shoots)Review and shape episodes with editorsWrite headlines, scripts, thumbnail text, and social contentRequired Qualifications: Strong research, writing, and organizational skillsAbility to manage logistics and multiple deadlinesCommitment to producing factual content based on editorial guidelinesStrong familiarity with the news cycle and current eventsTeam player, adaptable, and detail-orientedWillingness to work flexible hoursPreferred Qualifications: Journalistic background or experienceSocial media or video editing experienceWillingness to travelTo Apply:Please send a cover letter (that includes your level of familiarity with American Thought Leaders), resume, and three samples of your writing to hiring@epochtimes.nyc.
