Production Assembler
Job Description
Position OverviewThe Assembler is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement and handling of materials throughout the facility. This role supports shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material distribution while ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards.Required ExperienceMinimum 2+ years of relevant experience in material handling, warehouse, or inventory managementExperience working in stockroom or inventory environmentsStrong attention to detailAbility to multitask and prioritize tasksPreferred QualificationsExperience using Microsoft Office 365Prior material handling or warehouse experienceStrong organizational skillsKey ResponsibilitiesReceive, stock, and distribute materials, parts, and suppliesLoad and unload trucks as requiredVerify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoicesInspect received goods and report or reject damaged or incorrect itemsMaintain records of received and distributed materialsManage inventory and distribute materials to manufacturing linesPrepare shipping documentation and maintain shipment recordsPost weights and calculate shipping chargesPrepare materials for final shipmentFollow all company safety policies and proceduresMaintain regular attendance and punctualitySupport additional duties as assignedQualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredCertifications (Preferred)Vocational training, apprenticeship, or relevant work experience in material handling or logisticsExperienceMinimum 2+ years of related experienceRequired SkillsKnowledge of cycle counting and inventory controlAbility to operate powered industrial trucks and material handling equipmentAbility to use small hand toolsBasic computer and data entry skillsAbility to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervisionStrong communication and teamwork skillsBasic math and documentation skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and database toolsDevelopment OpportunitiesThe facility supports 23 product lines across 3 buildings, providing opportunities for employees to gain experience in multiple areas of material handling and warehouse operations.
