Inventory Specialist

Labcorp is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our team in Greenfield, IN. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pmJob ResponsibilitiesMaintains responsibility for warehouse pick rates, pick errors and accuracyMaintains all product returns, cancelled orders and ensures items are returned to stock in a timely mannerEnsures complete physical cycle count of assigned areas quarterlyAccountable for accurate inventory data, proper transactional timing (i.e., receipts and usage data is processed each day.), and report inventory variances to managementAssists in maintaining an inventory rotation and first in first out procedurePrioritizes daily tasks and special projects within inventory scope as directed by managerAssists in the development, maintenance and update of departmental procedures and departmental training files as neededOptimizes organization of the assigned inventory area and controls to ensure accurate inventory is maintainedAssists all internal customers with help in answering any questions pertaining to stock itemsAbility to expedite transportation arrangements for deliveries and/ or pick-upsAdheres to establishes SOPs and Universal Precaution guidelines at all timesAbility to requisition needed stock itemsMaintains a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse area. Complies with OSHA and MSDS standardsAssists in all necessary steps pertaining to freight claims, damaged shipments and return item authorizations as applicable to inventory stockMaintains documentation for determining maximum and minimum stocking levels and order amounts.Other duties as assigned by Management.Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.1 or more years of experience in: shipping, receiving, and inventoryBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
