Position Overview: Specialty: Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Location: Near Palmer, AK Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: Ongoing Position Type: Locum Tenens Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only Key Responsibilities: Clinical Care: Provide outpatient care for a diverse pediatric patient population focusing on developmental-behavioral health. Manage and support children with developmental disorders, behavioral issues, and other related conditions. Work within an established patient base in a supportive and collaborative environment. Schedule: 1-2 weeks of coverage per month. Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with no after-hours or weekend call responsibilities. EMR System: Utilize the Epic EMR system for all patient documentation and management. Certification and Licensing: Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (NDD). An active Alaska medical license is required; unfortunately, licensing reimbursement is not provided for this position. Practice Details: Practice Setting: Outpatient Patients Per Shift: Average of 6 patients per day Rounding: Not required Holidays: Coverage includes New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
