Candidates must be able to work fully onsite in Somerset, KY. Job Description:We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide both remote and onsite technical support to end users in the Somerset, KY area. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, hands-on desktop support experience, and excellent communication/customer service skills.Key Responsibilities.Provide desktop support to end users both remotely and in person. Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software in a Windows-based environment. Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues. Perform basic network troubleshooting. Document issues, resolutions, and support activities. Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain professional interactions with users. Lift and carry equipment and work in physically demanding or uncomfortable positions when necessary. Required Qualifications.1–2+ years of hands-on desktop support experience preferred. Experience supporting Windows environments. Basic network troubleshooting knowledge. Strong customer service and communication skills. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to lift/carry heavy equipment and work in varying physical conditions. Preferred Skills.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Experience supporting enterprise users in a professional environment. Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
