Instructional Systems Designer, Junior

OverviewOur American Systems Team is seeking a motivated Junior Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) to support the design and development of Computer-Assisted Instruction (CAI) and Interactive Courseware (ICW) for P-8A Poseidon Maritime Patrol Aircraft maintainers. This early-career position contributes to training solutions delivered to the U.S. Navy and Australian allies. The role allows for a hybrid work location (virtual and onsite at our Orlando, FL office) at the discretion of the American Systems Program Manager.Design, develop, and revise CAI and ICW materials.Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to gather, analyze, and organize technical content.Work with Graphic Artists to develop multimedia elements.Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create effective training materials.Follow established style guides, standards, and templates to maintain consistency.Implement feedback from SMEs, QA, and customers to continuously improve courseware.Collaborate with fellow ISDs and cross-functional team members to meet project deliverables.What's In It For YouBachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, English, or related field.0-2 years of experience in instructional design or related content development.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.Basic understanding of learning theories and instructional design models such as ADDIE.Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.Ability to manage and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
