Your Role on the TeamPosition Summary: TheSupervisor,ImagingFloatPoolisresponsiblefor thedirectfrontlinesupervision,dailyworkflowcoordination,andclinicaloversightofimagingfloatpoolcoworkersacrossassignedmodalities,facilities,andserviceareas. Theincumbentisaccountableforensuringadequatestaffingcoverageacrossimagingdepartmentsandfor theefficientandsafedeliveryofimagingservicesinalignmentwithdepartmentalpolicies,clinicalstandards,andallapplicableregulatoryandaccreditationrequirements,includingThe Joint Commission, American CollegeofRadiology,andapplicablestateandfederalregulations.Thisroleservesastheprimaryoperationalandclinicalresourceforfloatpoolcoworkersduringtheassignedshiftordesignatedareaofcoverage,andisresponsiblefor theappropriateassignmentofcoworkersbasedondemonstratedcompetency, patientcareneeds,andoperationaldemandacrossallcoveredareas. TheSupervisorsupportstheonboarding,orientation,andmulti-modalitytrainingofnewfloatpoolcoworkers,conductsongoingcompetencymonitoring,deliversreal-timecoachingandfeedback,andinitiatescorrectiveactionaswarrantedinalignmentwithorganizationalpolicy. Theincumbentidentifiesandresolvesoperational,staffing,andpatientcareissuesinatimelymanner,escalatescomplexconcerns,andparticipatesinquality,safety,andperformanceimprovementactivities.Thispositionexercisesindependentjudgmentinmanagingtheday-to-daysupervisionofassignedimagingfloatpoolcoworkersandtheoperationalactivitiesofthedesignatedunits,areas,orshifts. What It Takes to be SuccessfulRequired Qualifications:Minimum 3-5 years Radiology experience in a Lead or Senior Technologist role in any modalityPreferred Qualifications:Previous supervisory experienceFluoroscopy license/ CertificationExperience in a large teaching facilityCertifications in one of the following: Fluroscopy, CT, MRI , ARDMSAppropriate license/certification based on specialty (take from current CT, MRI, and US Job Description)Licenses and Certifications:Cert Radiologic TechnologistBasic Life SupportAmerican Registry of Rad TechsEducation:Total RewardsWe offer a wealth of benefits to make working at UCI even more rewarding.
