Bartender

Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, with experience in casual dining, nightclubs, or sports bar settings. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. A strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS is beneficial but not required. Excellent time management skills, a friendly and outgoing personality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment are essential to succeed in this position. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy using retail math and food industry standards Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and glassware as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to alcohol policies/laws Strong knowledge of food safety procedures related to food handling and serving in compliance with health codes Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly preferred Fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to serve high-volume crowds efficiently Familiarity with Toast POS is desirable Proven skills in sales, upselling beverages, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously through effective time management Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Experience working in catering or banquet settings is advantageous Strong math skills for cash handling, retail math, and billing accuracy Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally in a fast-paced environment This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
