Job – Project/Program ManagerDuration: 6 MonthsRole Overview:Technical Program Manager – CybersecurityThis is not a traditional Project Manager role. It's a technical, execution-focused program leadership role within a Global Cybersecurity Transformation Office.The person will lead a multi-year cybersecurity program (through 2027) focused on improving security posture across global environments.What This Role Is Really AboutAt its core, this role is about:Driving execution of cybersecurity programs (not strategy)Working across global teams, IT, and security functionsUnderstanding technical environments (networking + infrastructure)Ensuring security gaps are identified and remediatedThink of it as a bridge between technical cybersecurity teams and program deliveryKey Program AreasLRE (Local Risk Environments)Lab / sandbox environmentsNeed standardization and security controlsGRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance)Policy creationCompliance frameworks (ISO, NIST, SOC2)Governance structuresSecurity RemediationIdentifying and fixing gaps in:FirewallsDNSInfrastructureRole Breakdown60–65% Technical (Cybersecurity + Networking)35–40% Program ManagementImportant:A pure PM will not succeed here — technical understanding is mandatory.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end execution of cybersecurity program workstreamsBuild and manage:Project plansDependenciesRAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)Drive weekly execution cadence and reportingCoordinate across:Cybersecurity teamsIT & Network SecurityVendors and global stakeholdersTrack security assessments and remediation progressEnsure audit readiness and compliance alignmentTechnical ExpectationsCandidates should have working knowledge of:Networking fundamentals (DNS, Firewalls)Cybersecurity environments (labs, sandbox, LREs)Security remediation processesGRC frameworks (ISO, NIST, SOC2 – working knowledge is enough)Program Management ExpectationsManage large-scale, multi-workstream global programsStrong in:Dependency mappingCritical path planningRisk & stakeholder managementAbility to translate technical work into executive updatesIdeal Candidate ProfileExperience in large enterprise environments (tech or banking preferred)Background in:Cybersecurity programsIT infrastructure / networkingStrong ability to:Manage complexityCoordinate across global teamsDrive execution and accountabilityStakeholders You'll Work WithCybersecurity leadership (senior-level stakeholders)IT and infrastructure teamsProgram management teamsCross-functional global business unitsWork SetupPreferred: Hybrid (Houston or Frisco, TX)Remote: Possible for strong candidatesMust align with Central Time Zone
