Shop Mechanic

Job Description Shop Mechanics are responsible for repairing and maintaining various types of generators, industrial lighting equipment, and primarily servicing and repairing rental equipment, along with some customer owned equipment. Our products consist of light towers, explosion proof lighting, temporary power products, and generators. We're looking for a motivated individual ready to join an expanding business nationwide. We offer paid time off, health and dental, 401k, and competitive pay.Skills & Requirements:Perform routine and operational maintenance to ensure that equipment continues to run according to manufacturer's specificationsPerform equipment inspections to identify potential problems and safety concernsRecord maintenance and repair work performed on equipmentEnsures production and support equipment are functioning properlyPerforms basic electrical duties (replace motors, switches, PE, etc..)Analyze and Diagnose (troubleshoot) equipment malfunctions or failuresAble to read schematics (both hydraulic and electrical)Perform annual certifications and inspectionsTest and operate engines, hydraulics, and electrical systemsClean units and componentsOther duties may be assignedQualifications/Requirements:3 years experience in mechanically diagnosing, repairing and maintaining various types of equipmentAbility to handle physical workloadAbility to multitask and prioritizeAbility to thrive in fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skillsCapable of accomplishing task independently without direct supervisionStrong work ethics with a commitment to qualityA history of safe work habitsMaintains a great attitude toward workHigh School Diploma or GEDDriver's LicenseCompany DescriptionBoss LTR is the exclusive rental provider of Boss LTG manufactured products.
