Informatica ETL Developer

Overview In this role you will lead ETL development and data integration efforts across multiple systems. You will transform business rules into functional specifications and design scalable batch and parallel Informatica jobs. You will optimize data flows, tune mappings, and implement data quality and validation steps within a data warehouse context. You’ll collaborate with cross-system data sources to support efficient, high-throughput data processing and loading. This position offers an opportunity to shape data integration architecture and performance across the enterprise. ResponsibilitiesExtract, cleanse, validate and integrate data from multiple systemsDesign parallel/server jobs, job sequencers and batch jobs in Informatica 9.5/10.2Partition data streams to distribute load across processors and maximize throughputWork with data warehouse concepts (star/snowflake schemas, fact and dimensional tables)Integrate sources like Teradata, DB2 UDB, SQL Server, Oracle, and MS AccessWrite and optimize database procedures, functions, and SQLCreate shell scripts to automate file manipulation and data loadingTune mappings and resolve performance bottlenecks at source and targetTransform business rules into functional specifications Key requirementsInformatica 9.5 and 10.2 experienceStrong SQL and database procedure/function writingExperience with multiple data sources (Teradata, DB2 UDB, SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access)Shell scripting for automationData Warehouse architecture knowledgePerformance tuning of ETL mappingsInformatica 9.5/10.2TeradataDB2 UDBSQL ServerOracleMS Access
