As one of the first and most consistent points of contact for our guests, this position blends front desk operations, personalized guest service, and morning breakfast service in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.This is a highly engaged, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in hospitality, and thrives in a small-team setting where everyone leads by example.Seasonal Availability: Our peak season runs May through September. Ideal candidates are available for the majority of this period; flexibility at the start or end of the season may be considered.What You'll Be Doing:Guest Welcome & Front Desk OperationsGreet guests warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming first impression from arrival through departureManage check-in and check-out procedures, verify reservations, and clearly communicate property amenities, policies, and local recommendationsProcess payments accurately, handle billing questions, and resolve discrepancies with care and discretionAnswer phones and respond to emails promptly, providing helpful, knowledgeable assistanceReservations & CoordinationManage reservations, cancellations, and modifications with accuracy and attention to detailMaintain up-to-date guest information in the reservation systemCommunicate closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure smooth daily operations and timely guest readinessBreakfast Service & Morning OperationsPrepare, set up, monitor, and break down the daily continental breakfast serviceEnsure breakfast areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout serviceEngage with guests during breakfast, anticipating needs and reinforcing a warm, attentive atmosphereGuest Experience & Problem SolvingAssist with room changes, special requests, directions, and curated local recommendationsAddress guest concerns thoughtfully and efficiently, escalating when appropriateTake ownership of the guest experience, understanding intent and finding practical, service-oriented solutionsAdministrative & Operational SupportMaintain an organized and presentable front desk and public areasAssist with light administrative tasks, mail/packages, and daily logs as neededSafety, Security & EmergenciesMonitor access to the property and follow established security proceduresRespond calmly and effectively to emergency situations, supporting guests and team membersSkills & Abilities:High school diploma or equivalent experience requiredPrior hospitality or customer service experience preferredStrong service mindset with the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComfortable multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities throughout the dayProficiency with computers, phones, and basic office equipmentReliable, detail-oriented, and willing to step in wherever needed to support the teamWorking Conditions & Physical Effort:This role is active and physical in nature. Requirements include extended standing and walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working indoors with standard hotel equipment. Morning shifts may begin early to support breakfast service.Employment Details:Full-time and part-time schedules available based on operational needsOur peak season runs May–October.
