Please apply only if you are confident in your technical abilities and hands-on experience.Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Windchill Integration Developer to design, build, and operate integrations connecting PTC Windchill with ERP, MES, CAD, and other engineering and manufacturing systems. In this role you will own the technical integration layer between Windchill and the broader enterprise systems landscape. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on Windchill integration experience and a strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, middleware platforms, and PLM-to-ERP data flows. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions, and will be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. The successful candidate brings strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, and a track record of shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop integrations between Windchill and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud) using Info*Engine, web services, and middleware platformsBuild CAD integrations for Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Catia, and NX with Windchill, including check-in/check-out workflows and metadata mappingDevelop integrations between Windchill and MES, MOM, and quality systemsBuild REST and SOAP services for Windchill data using OData, Info*Engine, or custom Java servicesImplement message-based and event-driven integrations using middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, SAP CPI)Design and operate robust error-handling, alerting, and resubmission patterns, applying disciplined engineering practices and partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure outcomes are durable, well-documented, and aligned with broader team and platform standardsProfile and optimize performance of high-volume integrations, applying systematic measurement, targeted improvements, and data-driven validation to deliver quantifiable gains in throughput, latency, or resource efficiencyLead migration efforts to retire legacy point-to-point integrations and replace them with modern, middleware-mediated patterns, planning phased cutovers, building backward-compatibility shims where needed, and ensuring each migration step is reversible and well-monitoredCollaborate with PLM, ERP, and CAD functional teams to align integrations with business processesDevelop integration documentation, message specifications, and runbooks, applying disciplined engineering practices and partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure outcomes are durable, well-documented, and aligned with broader team and platform standardsProvide hands-on post-go-live and hypercare support, working closely with operations teams to triage incidents quickly, identify root causes, and drive durable fixes that improve long-term system stabilityMentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers through code review, design review, pair programming, and structured knowledge sharing, helping the broader team grow in technical maturity and confidence over timeContinuously evaluate emerging integration tools and patterns, assessing maturity, fit for purpose, and total cost of ownership, and make grounded recommendations on which to adopt, pilot, or defer based on real engineering needsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical disciplineFive or more years of PLM integration experience with a strong focus on WindchillHands-on experience with Info*Engine and Windchill Java APIExperience designing PLM-to-ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle)Working knowledge of CAD integration patternsExperience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, or SAP CPIStrong SQL skills and familiarity with Windchill data modelExperience with REST and SOAP web servicesExcellent troubleshooting and documentation skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsPTC Windchill certificationsExperience with ThingWorx or IIoT integrationExposure to API management platformsFamiliarity with event-driven and Kafka-based integration patternsExperience operating Windchill in the cloudHow To ApplyWould you like to know more about this opportunity?For immediate consideration, please send your resume to harry@bvteck.com or contact us at (908) 676-4399.
