Financial Controller

The Financial Controller will be a business partner to the CFO and executive team in overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and efficient management of the company's financial resources. This role is critical in supporting our growth and maintaining our reputation for financial integrity and excellence. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads and senior management. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other financial reporting requirements. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries. Coordinate external audits and function as the primary point of contact for auditors. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. Provide strategic financial guidance to support decision-making and long-term planning. Qualifications: CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in accounting. Minimum of 7 years of experience in fiscal management, within the machinery manufacturing industry. Proven experience with financial systems administration and optimization. Strong knowledge of GAAP, and financial regulations. Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software industries AccountMate, Deacom, and Global Shop. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time on-site in-office position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
