Job Summary and QualificationsPerforms a variety of duties in preparing patients for scans or particular organs to furnish diagnostic and therapeutic information. Shows sound knowledge and proficiency in operating radionuclide equipment to produce scans; measures concentration of radioactive nuclides in specified body parts. Demonstrates effective safety practices. Is given general guidance and is expected to function with initiative and sound judgement to provide quality services. Prioritizes and organizes patient flow to ensure best utilization of time. Demonstrates competence when performing other related or licensed functions.
