Endocrinologist Permanent Position Overview: UCHealth, in collaboration with our dedicated ENT group, is actively seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join our well-established outpatient practice in Pueblo, Colorado. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality specialized care in a vibrant community known for its stunning Rocky Mountain scenery and abundant outdoor recreational activities. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive outpatient endocrine care focused on adult patients, including management of diabetes, thyroid disorders, and osteoporosis. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. Utilize ultrasound imaging within the clinic to assist in diagnostics and procedures. Manage a busy clinic schedule, seeing approximately 15 patients daily. Work within a modern healthcare environment using the EPIC Electronic Medical Record system across the entire UCHealth network. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and stay updated with advancements in endocrinology. Contribute to the development and implementation of patient education programs; a certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) is in the process of joining the practice. Qualifications: Medical Degree (MD or DO) and successful completion of an accredited Endocrinology fellowship. Board Certification or eligibility in Endocrinology by the ABIM or equivalent. Prior outpatient clinical experience preferred, especially in diabetes, thyroid, and osteoporosis management. Strong interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care. Eligibility for medical licensure in Colorado. Interested in permanent employment; we are not accepting locum or visa candidates.
