Position Overview
An experienced Pharmacist is needed to provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services across the main campus and affiliated clinics. This role supports a broad patient population including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients.
The Pharmacist ensures safe, effective, and consistent delivery of pharmacy services in accordance with established standards and policies. The position involves rotating shifts-including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays-and offers opportunities for professional growth through advanced practice tiers.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Review, interpret, and verify medication orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
Provide patient and provider counseling on drug therapy, dosing, and interactions.
Oversee specialized pharmacy-based clinics and quality improvement programs.
Conduct ongoing evaluations of clinical services to optimize patient care.
Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff including pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and billers.
Implement and enforce pharmacy policies and procedures.
Manage daily operations as Clinic Manager at assigned locations.

This position is based in a regional healthcare center serving a 4,400-square-mile area in northwestern Arizona. The organization offers inpatient, outpatient, emergency, dental, ophthalmology, orthopedic, OB/GYN, surgical, and specialty services.
The surrounding community provides a culturally rich environment, home to the Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute tribes, alongside a diverse workforce of healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
Required:
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution.
Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in any U.S. state or territory, or the District of Columbia.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Pharmacist.
Minimum 1 year of Clinical Pharmacist experience.
Preferred:
Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting with diverse patient populations.

Orientation: Every 2 weeks

Shift: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with floating RDO
Holiday Coverage: Required
Guaranteed Hours: None
Overtime: After 40 hours/week
