If you are a dedicated caregiver in Southern California ready to grow your career, apply today and help us provide care that feels like family.Bonus is paid after working 250 hours in 6 months.This job is located in Newport Beach, Corona Del Mar, Irvine, Lake Forest, San Juan Capistrano, and Laguna Niguel.Compensation & Benefits:Holiday PayBenefits include medical, dental, and vision after one year of employmentPaid Sick Leave 40 hours per year401k after 3 months of employmentReferral Bonus if hired and refer a family or friend that works 250 hours in 6 months you get a $200 referral bonusFlexible Hours and Schedule depending on your availability4 hours shift pays $19 to $238 hour shift pays $18 to $2012 hour shift pays $18 to $19 since after 9 hours we pay overtime.Responsibilities:Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)Bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding / meal prep, toileting ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction, and more!Be oriented and well trained on ALL aspects of the client's Plan of CareMeal Prep and cookingAssist clients with LIGHT housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry, etc).Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery store, etcQualifications:Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) - This is a CA State requirement which involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for a FBI Background check - Salus can help you with this process if you are not currently certified.TB Test - Must be within 90 days of startMust be able to legally work within the USAPhysical capability to perform all job functionsSafe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will be driving with clientsMust be able to transfer a patientAbility to speak, write, and read English is a requirementWe are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate.
