Project Assistant
Your Next Opportunity The Project Assistant is responsible for providing project management support to the Project team. This position may include general administrative support.What You'll Do: Recap and track Potential Change Orders (PCO's).Ability to price up material vouchers.Write up and keep track of all Request for Information (RFI's).Track certified payroll for Rosendin and all subcontractors and fill out all necessary forms the job requires. e.g., HRC forms, OCIP Compliance.Ability to update project schedules on Microsoft Projects or Sure Track.Monthly billing (Schedule of Values/Cover sheet)Create and update material flow sheets. e.g., Fixtures and Fire Alarm devices; Subcontract/Change Order logs; Submittal logs.Ability to obtain quotes from vendors and some light material ordering.The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the position's role within the business unit.What You'll Need to Be Successful: Knowledge and ability to read blueprints; materials and pricing using Biddle Book; project management procedures and working knowledge of scheduling softwareComputer, filing, and 10-key skills requiredAttention to detail is necessary; strong analytical skills favoredStrong organizational, record-keeping and follow-up skillsHigh level of discretion and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential matters and documentationProficient in using Microsoft Projects; Suretrack; Oracle and SharePoint experience preferredProficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferredPrioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessaryWork under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitudeOral and written communication skills as required for the positionSelf-motivated, proactive and an effective team playerInteract effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and othersWhat You Bring to Us: Associate degree in Business Management, Construction Management, or related fieldBachelor's degree preferredMinimum 1-2 years' project management support experience, preferably in a construction environmentExperience in the construction industryCan be a combination of education, training, and relevant experienceTravel: 0%Working Conditions: General work environment - sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.Noise level is typically low to medium; it can be loud on a job site.Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.We fully comply with the ADA and applicable state law, including considering reasonable accommodation measures that may enable qualified disabled applicants and employees to perform essential functions.Pay Range $29.20-$43.80 HourlyThe pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description.
