Manufacturing Maintenance Technician I - 4033 *Overview:* We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support maintenance operations at an ice cream manufacturing facility in Phoenix, AZ. This position will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, support TPM and RCM programs, and help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of maintenance technician experience, strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of LOTO, valves, valve actuators, gaskets, seals, and HTST processes. Electrical and PLC experience is a plus. *Schedule:* 3rd Shift (Night), 9:00 PM–5:30 AM, 8-hour shifts; currently 5 days/week onsite, increasing to 6 days/week during busy season; must be flexible to work weekends and required overtime as needed. *Responsibilities:* * Perform maintenance functions supporting Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs. * Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks. * Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions by evaluating performance issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions. * Maintain equipment to maximize production, quality, reliability, and safety. * Accurately complete work orders, maintenance documentation, and summary reports. * Follow maintenance SOPs and established procedures. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance and production support areas. * Use computer systems to perform data entry and complete maintenance transactions. * Follow applicable government regulations and company safety requirements. * Maintain compliance with GMPs and food manufacturing safety policies. * Support the development and maintenance of a world-class manufacturing environment. * Work effectively with maintenance, production, and other cross-functional teams. * Perform other duties as assigned. *Qualifications:* * 2+ years of previous maintenance technician experience. * Strong mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting experience. * Knowledge and understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and requirements. * Valves, Valve actuators, Gaskets, Seals, HTST processes * Ability to read and understand blueprints. * Basic computer skills and ability to perform data entry. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Willingness to learn multiple tasks and work cross-functionally. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. * Must be flexible to work weekends and overtime during busy season. *Preferred Qualifications:* * High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, but not required. * 5+ years of relevant maintenance experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree/education requirement. * Knowledge of electrical theory. * Experience with PLC programming. * Experience with Microsoft Office and Teams. * Previous food, beverage, dairy, or manufacturing experience.
