Senior Congressional Analyst

Summary:The Senior Congressional Analyst will support the research and response to congressional inquiries directed to the Defense Health Agency (DHA). Job functions include analyzing congressional inquiries and drafting official correspondence, coordinating with agency stakeholders, maintaining a database of inquiries, briefing leadership on program status, and coordinating inquiry close-out and follow-up actions. Qualifications:7+ years of experience working in a relevant professional environmentProficient in technical writing, with the ability to draft accurate, clear, and concise written materialsStrong knowledge or background in revenue cycle managementExceptional written and verbal communication skillsStrong critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutionsResearch and analytical skillsExperience working with the DoD/DHA or other government agencyExperience with policy writing and/or regulatory compliance managementDetail-Oriented Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute tasks with minimal directionSelf-starter that excels in fast-paced environmentsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with agency leadership and stakeholders on a regular basisDemonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
