This individual will review complex federal and state tax returns, manage client engagements, and lead and develop tax staff. The ideal candidate is a trusted advisor who thrives in a client-facing, team-oriented environment. Relocation assistance is a consideration.ResponsibilitiesTax Return Review & Compliance Review complex partnership, S corporation, and high-net-worth individual tax returns with a focus on real estate entities. Oversee federal and state tax compliance engagements from planning through completion.Real Estate & Partnership Tax Analyze partnership agreements and financial statements to ensure accurate income, deduction, and allocation reporting. Research and apply complex partnership tax concepts including capital account maintenance, targeted allocations, basis adjustments, Section 163(j), and allocation methodologies. Support tax structuring for acquisitions, dispositions, 1031 exchanges, qualified opportunity zones, and carried interests.Client Advisory Build and maintain strong client relationships. Provide proactive tax planning and consulting expertise. Support Partners with engagement execution and service development. Monitor tax law changes and industry trends.Leadership & Process Supervise, train, and develop tax staff. Manage engagement workflow and resource allocation.
