Position Title: Manager Airports Duty JFKPosition Summary:The Manager is responsible for all facets of day-to-day operational tasks. The Manager also ensures quality, efficiency and consistency in the execution and implementation of operational policies and standards. The manager is responsible for operational targets and goals and serves as the primary point of contact for ground operations, ticket counter, and/or gate and oversees the supervisors and Crewmembers in these areas.Essential Responsibilities:Ensure that quality of customer service is in-line with the high expectations Customers have for JetBlueManage the daily operations of a shift, including payroll issues, safety, staffing and schedulingManage the operational performance by overseeing the daily flight operation to meet or exceed the established performance goalsMonitor TSA inline screening of baggage and ensures timely processing of baggageResolve Crewmember and Customer issuesParticipate in ad hoc committees; respond to ad hoc requests to establish, develop or re-visit guidelines, policies and/or procedures as they pertain to the operation or the CrewmembersManages all Business Partner relationships and monitors performance and compliance.Other duties as assigned Is accountable to senior management for ensuring the safety and security of ground handling operationsTake a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support the engagement, growth, goal achievementEnsures that policies and procedures are conducted in accordance with applicable federal regulations and standardsAll other duties as assigned Minimum Experience and Qualifications:High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma Five (5) years of related experienceThree (3) years prior Part 121 airline experienceAble to travel and/or work flexible hours/shifts, including holidays and weekends Must be able to read, write, and speak English Must be able to use handheld radios and microphones to communicate with operations and make all terminal announcements Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Services and Company required software and application Strong verbal and written communication skillsStrong Customer Service SkillsAbility to work independently with a sense of urgency and attention to detailDepending on location, may need to acquire and maintain a United States Customs ClearanceMust possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and a driving record from the state of your primary residence that meets JetBlue Airways insurance standards.Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) BadgeAvailable for overnight travel (20%)Must pass a pre-employment drug testLegally eligible Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is locatedAuthorization to work in the US is required. Compensation:The base pay range for this position is between $81,000.00 and $136,200.00 per year..
