Job TypeContractDescriptionRelief veterinarians are a vital part of helping us expand access to care and meet our clients where they are emotionally and financially.What You’ll DoProvide general practice and urgent care services, including wellness and/or urgent care exams and diagnostics.Partner with skilled veterinary support staff to deliver compassionate and efficient care.Document cases thoroughly and ensure excellent client communication.RequirementsWhat We’re Looking ForDVM or equivalent degree, with a current California license in good standing.Experience in small animal practice; experience with incremental and spectrum of care case management strongly preferred.Strong communication skills and a commitment to client education.Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced general practice environment.Compensation: Relief veterinarians are compensated at a daily rate of $1,400 per 10-hr General Practice shift and $1,800 per 10-hr Urgent Care shift.
