Analytical Chemist

Job Summary:Our client is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join their team! This position is located in St. Louis, Missouri. We encourage both entry and mid-level candidates to apply! Duties:Develop methods for determining chemical compositions of formulations and products using HPLC/UPLC/LCMS/GCConduct physical-chemical characterization techniques including density, particle size analysis, viscosity, surface tension, contact angle, and thermal analysisPerform optical and electron microscopy and FTIR/NIR/UV-Vis spectroscopy analysesPrepare complex liquid and solid matrices for qualitative and quantitative analysesDesired Skills/Experience:Completed Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field1+ years of relevant analytical chemistry experience (including educational research/laboratory experience)Proficiency with HPLC/UPLC/LCMS/GC and physical-chemical analytical techniquesExperience with sample preparation and method development for chemical samplesLaboratory instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting capabilitiesBenefits:Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance PlansEmployee-Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP)401K offeredThe approximate pay range for this position starting at $60-65,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
