Qualifications-2+ yrs of hands-on fabrication experience — mill, lathe, drill press, 8020, and general woodworkingMechanical assembly experience in a structured shop or manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality and craftsmanshipFamiliarity with basic metrology and inspection toolsProficient in Google Workspace or equivalent documentation toolsSelf-directed with the ability to follow through on tasks with minimal supervisionNice to Have-SolidWorks — ability to read models and drawingsElectrical controls or low-voltage panel wiringFine detail assembly experienceMedical device or regulated manufacturing backgroundResponsibilities-Fabricate parts and assemblies using mills, lathes, drill presses, 8020 extrusion systems, and woodworking toolsPerform mechanical assembly of prototypes, fixtures, and components with precision and careExecute functional testing; collect, log, and organize data accuratelyPerform basic inspection and metrology to verify part and assembly conformanceDocument work using Google Workspace and follow engineering drawings and work instructionsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
