Expanded Functions Dental Assistant About The Practice:We are fast-growing, state of the art, private practice in Franklin, TN. Our office is a general practice with a focus on high end cosmetic cases and total smile rehabilitations. We offer a wide array of services and our goal is to provide patients top notch care while handling all of their dental needs.What we are looking for:A full time, experienced dental assistant, EFDA preferred but not required.A dependable individual who is fun loving with a good personality, sense of humor and great work ethicApplicant must be a self-starter, have great communication skills, a positive attitude, be organized and possess a willingness and desire to learn and growMinimum Qualifications:Working knowledge of basic dentistry procedures and termsX-ray certificationDental Assisting License/CertificationSignificant chair-side experience is preferred.Current CPR CertificationOSHA Compliant Sterilization TechniquesPreferred Qualifications:Expanded Functions Dental Assistant CertificationKnowledge of digital x-rays, oral surgery and implants as well as familiarity with Dentrix are added advantages.Strong case presentation skills and cross training in basic front office duties are a bonus.Hours:Monday-Thursday 8-4Occasional Fridays 8-1Pay:$28-$35/hourSupplemental Pay:Opportunity for monthly bonusesA higher hourly rate will be considered for an experienced EFDAEqual opportunity employer.
