Sr Project Scheduler

Location: Concord, California Type: Direct Hire Job #11304 Salary: $170000 Location Type: On-Site Our client, with over 6 decades of execution and an international presence, is seeking a Sr. Project Scheduler to support a thriving vertical construction portfolio. As a leader within the project team supporting roughly 3-6 large scale projects simultaneously the selected candidate will be in a position of impact across key projects for the organization. Required Education/Experience: Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP Certification) with a minimum of 7+ years of recent continual experience supporting federal regulated projects with Army Corps of Engineers oversight Understanding of FAR and DFARS and relevant federal scheduling specifications for submitting requirements, progress reports, and government review cycles Proficient with Critical Path Method of scheduling and cost loading Support the formal proposals and interview process for prospective projects Conduct monthly project audits and provide business unit management with recommendations for risk mitigation Proficient with P6 scheduling software and excel Preferred Education/Experience: Undergraduate degree in construction or related technical field with 10+ years of experience supporting projects for the FDA or Armed Services Heavy project controls experience responsible for cost loaded schedules and adjustments for project modifications Advanced skills with Microsoft excel, P6 technology, and advanced scheduling tools Demonstrated project ownership through proactive interaction with owners and stakeholders, which at times requires schedulers intervention to maintain recommended project cost and deadlines Collaborate with proper internal and external parties in support of the project delay claims processes Prior leadership and/or training experience
