The intern will assist with database management, including maintaining accurate records, generating lists, and supporting event analytics and reporting. Responsibilities also include cross-checking event materials, managing inbox inquiries, uploading content to event platforms, and maintaining internal resources such as training hubs and documentation.Your Contributions Provide administrative support to a team of Event Technology ManagersSupport the team with database management to ensure consistency in information, accuracy of new and existing data, and list generationList manipulation to provide team members with relevant registration data, year on year statistics, and insight into varied elements and event analyticsAssist with information/data cross-checks for event materials and collateralMonitor email inboxes and respond to inquiriesUploading photos/bios to event appAssist with the upkeep and updating of the internal training hubUpdate and distribute internal documentsKeep electronic event files and reports organized and up to dateCoordination of name badges, tent cards, place cards, departure notices, email confirmations, agenda, signage etc. where appropriate Participate in and provide on-site registration support at events, as neededFlag inefficiencies and present solutionsStrict and accurate adherence to company’s time tracking policies and systemsTime management and prioritization skills to ensure efficient functioning of schedules and office systemsDemonstrate excellent attention to detail and organization skillsMaintain the company’s standard operating proceduresAct as an ambassador for the FIRST brand, leading by example and displaying the company’s core values (Ambition, Creativity, Excellence, Integrity, Teamwork)What We Are Looking ForExperience in an administrative function a plus, but not requiredPrior event technology experience a plus, but not requiredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially ExcelExcellent project management skills, including attention to detail, multi-tasking, prioritization of tasks, and ability to meet strict deadlinesTeam player, able to take direction and run with itExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAmbitious and proactiveHighly organized with ability to handle multiple tasks to meet strict deadlinesProactive work style with the ability to work autonomouslyStrong adaptability to situations and ever-changing demandsA calm and flexible approach to handling pressure and stressBuild excellent relationships with team through positive communicationsOutgoing, comfortable interacting with individuals of all levels and providing input and guidance as neededAt FIRST, we believe that our success is driven by the passion, creativity, and commitment of our teams. Please note that the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across various U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position.
