We believe in a holistic approach to community transformation driven by relationships, resources, and hope.  Position Summary: The Development Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting Abide’s fundraising efforts through donor management, event coordination, communications, and database administration. This individual will help build and maintain relationships with donors, ensure accurate and timely gift processing, and contribute to the overall development strategy that sustains and grows our impact in Omaha’s neighborhoods.  Key Responsibilities: 1. Donor Relations & Stewardship Maintain and update donor database (CRM) to ensure accuracy and segmentation. Coordinate donor acknowledgments and thank-you letters within 48 hours of gift receipt. Assist in managing donor cultivation and stewardship processes, including personalized touchpoints and updates. Respond to donor inquiries and facilitate excellent customer service. 2. Fundraising Campaign Support Assist with the execution of annual campaigns, including Giving Tuesday, year-end giving, and mid-year appeals. Support creation of fundraising materials (emails, newsletters, direct mail) in collaboration with the marketing team. Track campaign progress and prepare reports for the Director of Development. 3. Event Coordination Plan and execute donor events, including volunteer days, vision nights, and the annual gala. Coordinate logistics (venue, catering, RSVP management) and ensure successful event delivery. Support follow-up efforts after events to maintain engagement. 4. Data & Reporting Oversee day-to-day operations of the donor CRM (e.g., Salesforce, Bloomerang, or similar). Generate weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports on donor activity, retention, and fundraising progress. Ensure data integrity and develop best practices for database usage across the team. 5. Internal Collaboration Collaborate with program and communications teams to gather impact stories and program data. Support grant application and reporting processes by providing donor and fundraising data. Attend weekly development team meetings and participate in cross-functional planning as needed.  Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): KPI Target Donor Acknowledgment Timeliness 95% of gifts acknowledged within 48 hours Database Accuracy 98% data integrity (clean, complete, and up-to-date records) Event Attendance & Engagement 10% year-over-year growth in donor event attendance Donor Retention Rate Maintain or improve retention of repeat donors by 5% annually New Donor Conversion Contribute to 10% increase in new donors annually through campaigns  and events Campaign ROI Tracking Provide timely and accurate reporting on all campaigns within 7 days  post-campaign CRM Utilization Maintain 100% of key donor activity recorded in CRM system  Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in development, fundraising, or nonprofit administration. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a results-driven mindset. Familiarity with donor CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Bloomerang, Kindful). Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Passion for Abide’s mission and a heart for urban ministry and community development.  Compensation & Benefits: Salary commensurate with experience Dental and vision benefits Generous PTO and holidays Professional development opportunities Supportive and mission-driven team culture
