Transplant Hepatologist Needed $100k Commencement Bonus - Advance Your Career in a Renowned Medical

A large integrated academic health system in Michigan is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Transplant Hepatologist to join their established and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity to partner with an experienced transplant hepatologist within a dynamic and collegial group of 19 physicians and 11 advanced practice providers dedicated to providing comprehensive gastroenterology care. Hospital Highlights:• 1000-bed Flagship hospital• Level 1 trauma center• Strong Research ties with local research institute• Specialized programs in IBD, Interventional Endoscopy, and Hepatology. Position Highlights:• Joining a team of 20 physicians and 22 APPs in a high volume gastroenterology practice• Hybrid role: Mix of 85% outpatient and 15% inpatient work- IP coverage is 1:7 weeks• Transplant responsibilities: Pre- and post-liver transplant patient care and participation in weekly Transplant Selection Meetings• Multidisciplinary support from the Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Interventional Endoscopy programs.• Collaborative, team-based approach with access to other subspecialists.• Opportunity to train and mentor residents and students.
