Whether you're building a team or advancing your career, we bring speed, strategy, and a people-first approach to every partnership.Position Overview:We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven Business Development professional to join our team and help scale our Creative and Digital Marketing division nationally. You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing long-term client relationships, and working closely with our delivery team to ensure high-quality candidates are matched with client needs. You'll represent The Planet Group as a trusted partner, helping organizations solve short-term challenges and meet long-term strategic goals through top-tier talent.The ideal candidate will be an accomplished sales leader with 2+ years of Creative & Digital staffing experience, with a proven record of consistent achievement and account retention within the staffing/consulting industry.Position responsibilities:Sell The Planet Group as a staffing business partner to prospective client companies through multiple resources - including cold calling, virtual or in-person client meetings, referrals, social media, etc.Build and grow relationships with current and prospective company clients, manage fee negotiations and contracts, conversion rates and bill ratesDevelop comprehensive account strategies to win new business from new and existing accountsCommunicate new job openings, closings, and feedback from the client to ensure strong candidate matches and line up interviews in a timely mannerWork with other Planet Group sales teams to upsell all Planet Group Staffing and Consulting servicesWork independently and exercise independent judgment in the determination of engaging, developing, and maintaining suitable clientsUncover immediate needs in our target market through leads and follow-ups, executing internal and external initiatives to drive profitable growthCreate and participate in sales meetings and presentationsIdentify and attend key conferences and trade shows to increase company visibility and business opportunitiesEducation and Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree2-5+ years of new business development experience in technology staffing within the Creative and Digital spaceProven ability to generate leads, close deals, and exceed sales targetsStrong interpersonal and presentation skills with the confidence to engage senior-level stakeholdersStrong business acumen and problem-solving abilityA driven, self-starting attitude with a desire to succeed in a commission-driven environmentAbility to work independently while collaborating across teamsCompensation and BenefitsUnlimited PTOMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchLife insurance, short-term & long-term disability, and other supplemental benefitsA collaborative, growth-oriented culture with ongoing learning and development opportunitiesBase salary: $60,000 - $80,000 and uncapped commission structure*The base salary rate will be commensurate with experience level and past success.
