Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Vascular

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Sonographer with RVT certification and at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week travel contract in the greater Boston area.Job Details• Cardiovascular care unit at an acute care hospital,• Performs vascular ultrasound procedures including carotid, arterial, venous, and peripheral vascular studies,• Uses Doppler and color-flow imaging to assess blood flow and detect abnormalities,• Tuesday-Friday schedule, 4x9-hour shifts, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM, 36 hours per week,• Charts using Epic EMR,Job Requirements• Minimum of 1 year of vascular sonography experience,• RVT (ARDMS) certification required,• BLS certification required (AHA only; Red Cross not accepted at this location),• Active MA license required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted - license required if applicable,• Epic EMR experience preferred,• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions are permitted,• 2 professional references required for consideration,Additional Information• Perform and oversee a wide range of vascular ultrasound examinations using Doppler and color-flow imaging,• Responsible for maintenance and calibration of vascular ultrasound equipment,• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate ultrasound protocols,• Timekeeping system: UKG/Kronos,• Local candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but may be subject to a reduced pay rate,• No validated parking available at Boston-area locations; public parking is available at candidate's expense
