The candidate will have a strong understanding of the importance of personal and group safety within the workplace. The candidate will be a team player, working effectively with other craft employees, Mill operators, maintenance planners and supervision. The candidate will have experience troubleshooting and leading repairs to complex workplace equipment. Finally, candidates will demonstrate an ability to read manuals, blueprints and working drawings, plan and lay out work, and take accurate measurements using devices common to the craft.Specific Job RequirementsRigging and ability to estimate equipment weight and be able to safely rig all types of equipment. Specifically, machine roll changesWorking with Machine Shop practices; Lathe & Milling MachinesPiping including; layout, welding, plumbing, hydraulics & tubingWelding such as Stick, Tig Mig and gas torch operation.
