Inventory Tech - Second Shift

We're searching for an Inventory Technician, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper stock levels, and supporting the efficient flow of materials and products. This role involves receiving, storing, and issuing materials, conducting regular inventory audits, and utilizing inventory management systems to track and report inventory data. Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesReceives, inspects, and records incoming shipments of materials and products Accurately inputs inventory data into inventory management systems (e.g., ERP or WMS) Performs regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to ensure accuracy Identifies and reports discrepancies between physical counts and system records Organizes and maintains inventory storage areas for optimal efficiency and safety Assists in the preparation of inventory reports and documentation Collaborates with purchasing, production, and shipping departments to ensure inventory needs are met Skills & RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in logistics or supply chain is a plus 1-2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field Experience with different types of sheet metal (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel) Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience required Familiarity with inventory software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft D365) preferred Knowledge of lean inventory practices or just-in-time (JIT) inventory systems preferred Experience with barcode scanners and RFID systems preferred
