We are seeking talented and enthusiastic individuals, with positive attitudes, strong work ethic, and passion for making a difference in Greensboro.We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to serve as an Athletic Field Maintenance Worker who is passionate about building better lives and a better community. Perform daily operations and maintenance of athletic fields, grounds maintenance and park operations including mowing, cleaning, repair and maintenance of facilities and janitorial work.Duties to include:Maintain grounds by weeding, mowing and fertilizing lawns; plant, water, trim and prune landscaped areas consisting of bushes, trees, flowers, shrubs and lawns.Rake leaves and clear debris from walks, fields and other facilities.Inspect parks and facilities for repair needs; review maintenance needs with assigned supervisor; perform minor maintenance and repairs to fences, bleachers and sprinkler systems.Operate various landscape and construction equipment including power and hand tools, mowing equipment, rakes, pitch forks, weed eaters, brooms, chain saws and other related equipment; maintain tools and equipment; adhere to safe work practices.The physical duties of the job include but are not limited to; bending, stooping, and heavy lifting up to 50lbs.
