The Agentforce Voice team is looking for a technically strong, highly collaborative and accomplished Senior Engineering Manager to join our exceptional team of engineers. We work in a collaborative environment and we value transparent communication, critical feedback, passion, and having fun.Salesforce is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our software engineering teams in the Agentforce Voice team. We need someone who is technically strong, highly collaborative and passionate about the product and our customers. You will manage and lead a team of exceptional engineers working on applications written in Go lang, Python, and Java stack spread across core and off-core platforms.In This Role, We Need Someone Who CanDrive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with many cross functional teams, architects, product owners and engineerMake critical decisions that attribute to the success of the productProactive in foreseeing issues and resolve it before it happensBuild, mentor, manage, inspire and retain software engineering teamsOversee Sprint Planning and stand ups of multiple engineering teams working closely with the respective ScrumMasters and Engineering managers.Partner with the product and engineering leadership to align with objectives, priorities , tradeoffs and riskEnsure teams have clear priorities and adequate resourcesBe a multiplier and have a passion for team and team members’ successVocally advocating for technical excellence and helping the teams make good decisionsParticipating in architecture discussions and planningParticipating in cross-functional coordination, planning, and reviews with leads from other engineering teamsMaintaining and fostering our culture by interviewing and hiring only the most qualified individuals with an eye towards diversityOccasionally contributing to development tasks such as code reviews, architecture reviews and feature verifications to assist teams with release commitments, to gain understanding of the deeply technical product as well as to keep your technical acumen.Grow the organization and ensure that the right culture, processes, and technology investments are in placeParticipate in customer meetings helping resolve/triage customer issues and understand their use cases to help define product/engineering roadmapRefine and streamline on-call processes ensuring we maintain high availability SLAsHave a strong sense of service ownership and be responsible for service operationExperience And Skills10+ years of hands-on experience building, scaling and maintaining large scale, complex distributed systems and / or full stack software applications in the B2B (or B2C) SaaS space that operate 24x73+ years of experience managing managers and architectsIn-depth working knowledge of at least one object-oriented compiled language (Java, C++, etc)Excellent debugging and problem solving skills.Solid understanding of SDLC, and best practices in design, development, testing, and deployment.Experience with Agile development methodologiesStrong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and project management skills.
