OverviewWe are seeking a Construction Coordinator to manage and complete construction and renovation projects across our Hamilton region at Community First Solutions. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Senior Director of Construction Management to prioritize projects, execute plans with precision, and ensure quality, efficiency, and timeliness. Apply today and help us build safe, welcoming spaces where our community can thrive!ResponsibilitiesPerforms tasks necessary to maintain quality standards of independent living homes.Assist in planning various construction and remodeling projects throughout multiple campusesWork cooperatively with subcontractors on various projectsCalculate and obtain materials as needed for various projectsAble to problem solve and prioritize work based on deadlines.Complete tasks independently in a professional and courteous mannerMaintain quality standards as expressed by CFS ManagementMaintain clean and safe work environmentAbides by the company Always Behaviors each and every day as we serve our clients, colleagues, and community.All other duties as assigned and appropriate for the positionQualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or GEDLicenses or other required certifications: Must have a valid drivers license and ability to maintain active auto insurance.Experience: Minimum of three years experience working in a construction or maintenance-related field preferredSpecialized Knowledge, Skills, Or AbilitiesPossess mechanical aptitudePossess advanced knowledge of plumbing, electricity, HVAC, and carpentryPossess ability to interpret blueprints and read and comprehend operating manualsBasic working knowledge with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other internet applicationsAble to effectively communicate with the Director of Construction, various employees, and subcontractors as needed.Experience doing light electrical workExperience doing light plumbing workExperience with cabinetry, trim and demolition.Must be able to work as a member of a teamAbility to effectively and safely operate all equipmentPossess and exemplify a high level of customer service
