RoleAs a Die Setter (also known as Punch Press Operator, Metal Stamping Technician), you'll be responsible for setting up and operating punch presses, diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality control. You'll also play a part in training and development of operators, and manage daily housekeeping and reporting paperwork.BenefitsFirst and second shift availability.Opportunity to work with a company serving global customers in the Appliance, Transportation, and Industrial markets.Chance to work with over 100 forming machines, providing tooling design, value-added assembly, heat treat and finishing operations.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in setup and operation of punch presses.Prior experience in a metal stamping facility – understanding of progressive dies is a must.Experience in the use of measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, gauges) and ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
