Wound Care Nurse RN

Wound Care Nurse RN OpportunitySolaris HealthCare is seeking a Wound Care Nurse RN to join our team! By joining our team, you will be part of a dedicated group of professionals committed to supporting and uplifting our residents, ensuring they receive the best possible care to lead fulfilling lives.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive wound assessments including wound measurements and documentation.Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with wounds.Perform wound care treatments, including dressing changes, debridement and other necessary interventions.Educate patients and their families on wound care, preventions strategies, and overall health maintenance.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wound care treatments and adjust plans as necessary.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.Stay current with best practices, evidence based protocols and new technologies in wound care.Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of wound care policies and procedures.Provide guidance and support to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals on wound care management.Qualifications:Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.Wound Care Certification strongly preferred.Skilled Nursing Experience preferred.2+ years of experience in Wound Care preferred.Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.Working Conditions:Work may involve exposure to infectious diseases, hazardous materials and other conditions found in healthcare setting.Must be able to lift and move patients as needed.May require standing, walking & moving for extended periods.
