Rose Mary Direct Support Professionals are the backbone of our organization. Experience is not necessary; we will train you! Paid training begins 09/9/2024. The general requirement for this rewarding position is to help carry out the primary responsibilities as followed: Assist individuals with hygiene needs, cooking, cleaning, and housekeeping Pass medications - we will provide paid med pass certification training Assist individuals in following a person-centered lifestyle that encourages personal choice and self-direction Qualifications: High school Diploma/GED that you can produce upon hire with original seal - official transcripts are acceptable 18 years or older Pass and maintain med pass certification Be able to stand, stoop, kneel and lift 50 -100 lbs. daily Have reliable transportation to and from work If you are 21 years of age or older and have a valid Ohio driver with 4 points or less, you can earn an additional hourly incentive for occasional driving. Driving is only allowed in agency owned vehicles. Rose-Mary offers hourly incentives for the following qualifications/jobs: Quarterly Incentives for retention, attendance, compliance, and med pass. DSPs can earn an additional $1.50 per hour, paid quarterly based on actual work hours. Details will be provided upon hire. Driver Incentive - If you are 21 years of age or older, have a valid Ohio driver with 4 points or less, and meet requirements under our insurance, you can earn an additional $0.50/hour. Drivers are only allowed to transport the individuals we serve in agency- owned vehicles. DSP Floats - earn an additional $1.50 (must be an approved driver - see above). Floats must also have reliable personal transportation and a willingness to work at any of our 14 locations in Cuyahoga County.
