Concrete Finishing Artist / Detail Laborer – Custom Architectural Projects Location: 905 35th Ave NE Sauk Rapids, MN 56379 Employment Type: Full-time Pay: $20/Hour About Us We specialize in creating custom GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) products for architectural and design projects. Our work includes realistic woodgrain textures, natural stone finishes, and one-of-a-kind concrete features for commercial and residential clients. Position Overview We’re looking for a hands-on, artistically inclined individual to join our production team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys art, sculpture, painting, or craftwork, and wants to apply those creative skills in a professional, workshop setting. You’ll help bring our concrete creations to life through detailed finishing, staining, and sealing processes that transform raw concrete into realistic wood, stone, and custom designs. Key Responsibilities Apply stains, pigments, and sealers to concrete pieces to achieve natural woodgrain and stone effects. Perform detailed patching, grouting, and finishing on concrete surfaces. Work closely with the production team to ensure each piece meets design and quality standards. Maintain tools, materials, and workspace cleanliness. Follow safety protocols and proper handling of materials. What We’re Looking For Strong attention to detail and an eye for color, texture, and realism. Experience or interest in painting, sculpture, scenic design, woodworking, or similar creative fields. Comfortable working with your hands in a workshop or production environment. Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn specialized finishing techniques. Prior experience with concrete, construction, or coatings is a plus — but we’ll train the right person. Requirements · A valid driver’s license · Ability to follow detailed instructions · The ability to lift 75-100lbs · Reports to work on time · Physical ability to stand and perform repetitive work that includes bending, twisting and squatting for 8 or more hours a day · Effective communication skills including; speaking, listening, and following oral & written instructions Work will generally be indoors. Start times may vary and weekend work may be requested. The environment can be dusty and noisy. Depending on the time of the year there could be hot or cold conditions. Much of the day will be spent standing and working with power tools. Employees are responsible for providing their own transportation to the job site.
