Teacher's Aide - New Milford, Connecticut

Support special education students in a school setting as a Paraeducator, also referred to as a Student Care Worker with behavioral experience. This contract role is based in New Milford, CT, offering the chance to work directly with students requiring individualized attention and collaborate closely with lead teachers and supervisors.Responsibilities include providing one-on-one and classroom assistance, supporting student learning and educational objectives, and assisting teachers in supervising and instructing special education students as outlined in their PPT and Individualized Education Programs (IEP). This role is integral to fostering a positive and productive learning environment tailored to each student's needs.Ideal candidates will have prior experience in school behavioral or special education settings or directly related fields.
