Senior Product Designer (Contract)Location: Remote or local to Columbus OhioPersonal Care industry leader seeking a Senior Product Designer to join a fast-paced product team and help deliver engaging, user-centered experiences across mobile and web platforms. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in Agile environments, collaborates deeply with cross-functional teams, and can take ownership of design work with minimal oversight.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to design user-centered solutionsTranslate business and user needs into intuitive product experiencesCreate user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity designsDevelop rapid prototypes to validate concepts and iterate quicklyContribute to and work within established design systemsPresent design work and rationale to stakeholders and leadershipPartner in Agile processes including backlog grooming and user story creationProvide feedback and mentorship to other designersRequired Qualifications:5–7+ years of experience in product or UX designStrong portfolio demonstrating both UX and UI design workExperience working within cross-functional Agile product teamsExpertise in mobile and mobile-first web designStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience with design systems and scalable design practicesAbility to work independently with minimal guidancePreferred Qualifications:Experience designing native mobile applicationsBackground in ecommerce or consumer-facing productsBasic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptFamiliarity with design research and usability testing methods
