Operations Manager Trainee
Summary:
The Manager Trainee is primarily responsible for assisting the Customer Accounts Department in lease agreement renewal. Secondarily, the Manager Trainee is responsible for assisting the sales department in the sales flow process, and handling service calls.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· The Acquisition and Maintenance of Customers
· Direct immediate contact with customers who have not renewed their Lease agreement (s)
· Act as a customer counselor who resells the benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments
· Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for all items personally returned
· Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance sheet and route sheets daily
· Document all customer promises and update customer information in the store computer system
· Assist with merchandise returns and customer deliveries as directed by the General Manager
· Perform responsibilities of the Customer Accounts Manager when directed
· Perform responsibilities of the Sales Department when directed
· Maintain and update customer information in the store’s computer system
· Safely operate company vehicle
· Load, secure and protect product in company vehicle
· Other tasks as assigned by management
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Required Skills and Competencies:
· Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills
· Strong telephone etiquette
· Computer operations ability
· Good organizational skills
· Good driving skills
· Position routinely requires lifting, loading and “dollying” merchandise 50 – 300 lbs
· Neatly groomed appearance
· Satisfactory MVR, D.O.T physical/certification in states that require it, drug screen, criminal background investigation with job performance reference check and required testing, a valid Driver’s License and compliance with the Company’s Diver Qualification Policy
