General Manager The General Manager is responsible for the daily oversight of the restaurant and staff. Responsibilities for the GM include ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, providing exceptional internal and external guest service, monitoring food presentation and quality, leading our team members with a positive and engaging spirit, and effectively managing the outlet's P&L. The GM's overall leadership and partnership with the culinary and service staff is paramount to our success.#indhighResponsibilities Create a strong partnership with the culinary and front of house staff to ensure exceptional guest service, consistent dish presentation, and exceptional food qualityMaintaining open communication with staff and fostering a team spiritWork closely with the servers/hostesses and culinary staff to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, and that cleanliness exceeds expectations.Supervises and assists in guest service training for all Team MembersManage quality control of the service and timeliness of food & alcohol orders.Evaluate and respond to guest trends, needs, issues, and commentsAssists with the development of marketing strategies to drive new visitation, guest loyalty and VIP player and Host driven eventsHelps create venue awareness through social media channelsPlans and executes various ethnic Asian Holiday calendar eventsStays abreast of competitive techniques and strives for continuous improvementEnsures that the outlet's physical appearance/FFE is maintained in exceptional conditionEnsures compliance with all regulations associated with food, alcohol, and gamingCoordinates with the culinary team and purchasing to ensure that the outlet maintains appropriate beverage/food inventoriesOptimizes the controlling the cost of labor, food, and beveragePerform continuous process improvement for enhancing Asian guests' amenities for the venue and support of gaming pit areas and retail opportunitiesSkills to Help You Succeed:Ability to analyze and interpret restaurant operational results.Ability to solve complex problems.Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHAMust be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission and an Alcohol Beverage Control card along with any required health certifications.Must be certified in alcohol awarenessWillingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and cover an irregular work scheduleAbility to analyze and interpret operation resultsAbility to perform assigned duties under pressureAccuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely mannerKnowledge of budgeting, P&L review, percentages, variances, etc.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications Must-Haves:High school diploma or equivalent required; 4-year degree in related fields preferred.5-7 years experience in restaurant management and supervision.Ability to: Analyze and interpret operation resultsSolve complex problemsPerform assigned duties under pressureAccuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely mannerMust be certified in alcohol awarenessMust be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.Physical Requirements:Ability to work long hoursAbility to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaningAbility to climb stairs multiple times dailyAbility to handle multi-tasking-heavy work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objectsAbility to climb, bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body and armsAbility to work under variable temperatures and noise levelsUse of stairs and elevatorsWhat We Offer Perks We Offer You:Comprehensive group health benefits for full-time and part-time Team Members and their eligible dependents.
