Regional District Manager - Expanded Learning Programs
You won't inherit this program. You'll build it.
Assist Programs is launching expanded learning support across Manteca Unified School District this October, and we're hiring one person to own it.
As *Regional District Leader*, you're accountable for everything: the people, the sites, the quality, the relationship with the District, and the experience thousands of students have every afternoon. When it runs beautifully, that's you. When something breaks at 3:15 on a Tuesday, that's you too.
This is a role for someone who has run programs, led teams, and wants a district of their own.
*What you'll run*
*Amazing Staff.* You'll build and lead a team of up to 75 Expanded Learning Coaches across District campuses. Hiring, onboarding, coaching, scheduling, performance, retention. You'll know your staff by name and know which ones are ready for more.
*Great Programs.* You'll be on campuses constantly, observing programs live, coaching in the moment, and solving problems before a principal has to call anyone. You'll set the standard for what a great afternoon looks like and hold it.
*Amazing Partnerships.* You'll be the face of Assist to Manteca Unified administrators and site principals. You'll sit in their meetings, answer their questions, absorb their feedback, and make sure our staff deliver the District's program plans the way the District intends.
*Scheduling Master.* Every assigned position filled, every day. You'll manage daily staffing, move coverage staff between sites when call-outs happen, and keep the pipeline full as the program grows through the year.
*Fully Compliant.* Clearances, attendance records, incident reporting, safety protocols and health and safety notifications to the District. You'll make sure nothing slips.
*The impact*
Manteca Unified serves thousands of students, and for a lot of them the after school program is the best part of their day. It's where they get the attention, the encouragement and the fun that a packed school day can't always deliver.
Every coach you hire, train and develop is another adult those students can count on. Every site you strengthen changes what hundreds of kids walk into each afternoon. Programs run well and students show up more, behave better and believe more in themselves.
That outcome runs through you.
What we're looking for
*Required*
* 2+ years leading, supervising or coordinating staff, ideally in education, expanded learning, youth programs, recreation, camps or a related field
* Experience working with school-age children and school site personnel
