C++ Quant Developer

A career progressing position for a talented C++ Quant Developer has arisen, to join a successful global high frequency trading firm in their New York, Chicago or one of their European offices. You will need to have at least 3 years working experience.The company has around 80 people globally, the role is to work alongside the founder / head trader, therefore a great learning opportunity.This is a unique role, as the firm is open to candidates joining from outside of the finance industry. An ideal opening if you are looking to get into the systematic trading space, and are a passionate C++ developer. You should enjoy working in a mid sized entrepreneurial environment (or are looking to move away from a larger organisation), and have some experience working with people remotely.The ideal candidate will have the following expertise (at least 3 years experience):Strong C++ skills (advantageous if you have had any experience working within a trading environment, but not essential)Python, LinuxExperience of working with real-time dataIdeally degree educated in Computer Science or a related subjectStrong communication skillsCompetitive compensation is on offer for the right candidate, please apply to hear further details.
