Large manufacturing plants, data center, etc.) all within the valleyPlease apply if interested!Pay - $29-33 per hourPosition OverviewWe are seeking Certified MIG Welders to perform high-quality MIG welding on structural components and piping in a fast-paced fabrication environment. The primary objective of this role is to produce strong, code-compliant welds using MIG processes, support pipe assembly and fit-up, and ensure work meets engineering drawings, project specifications, and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding to specifications and welding procedure documents.Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, material lists, and fabrication drawings to determine welding requirements and sequence of operations.Complete pipe fit-up, tack welding, and final welds for piping systems and structural assemblies.Set up, operate, and adjust welding equipment, wire feeders, and fixtures to achieve proper weld profile and penetration.Inspect and test welds visually and using basic non-destructive testing methods; document results and perform rework as required.Maintain welding records, track consumable usage, and complete production documentation in accordance with company procedures.Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform routine maintenance on welding machines, torches, and related tools.Follow all safety protocols, wear required personal protective equipment, and participate in job safety analyses and toolbox talks.Collaborate with fabricators, fitters, supervisors, and quality personnel to resolve fit-up or welding issues and meet production schedules.Assist in training and mentoring junior welders as needed and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsCertification in MIG welding (AWS or equivalent) with demonstrated competency in live welding tests.Minimum 1 years of hands-on experience performing MIG welding in fabrication and/or piping environments; experience with pipe welding is highly desirable.Proven ability to weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum using MIG processes with consistent, code-compliant results.Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and dimensional drawings.Familiarity with welding procedures and codes such as AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, or applicable industry standards.Experience with pipe fit-up, tacking, and fabrication techniques, including use of pipe clamps and fit-up tools.Skilled in setup and maintenance of welding equipment, wire feeders, and use of grinders and power tools.Good attention to detail, strong quality focus, and ability to document work accurately.Ability to pass company welding qualification tests and any required background or drug screenings.Physically able to lift materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods; commitment to workplace safety and PPE use.
