Candidates with a phlebotomy license or pursuing to gain a license are encouraged to apply.Responsibilities:Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingAccurately identify and label specimensAccurately enter data information into the applicable laboratory systemMeet department activity and production goalsCollaborate effectively with colleagues to coordinate tasks, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of data entry tasksCommunicate with clients pertaining to specimens received and or inquiries on samplesMust be comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment and sitting for extended periods of timeAdditional tasks may be assigned at any time by the supervisor Skills & Qualifications: High School Diploma is requiredPrevious experience working in a healthcare related environment (preferred)Ability to accurately identify specimens and enter relevant informationComfortable handling blood, urine and saliva specimensExperience working in a team oriented environmentStrong attention to detailProficient in Microsoft OfficeAbility to work in a fast paced environmentEOE StatementWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.
